How to connect CRM, marketing, and other tools to find expansion opportunities
Connect the tools you already use, tie activity back to one account, and surface the few accounts that look ready for an expansion conversation.
Connect the tools. Map the account. Then ask Signal to show you which accounts are worth a look.
Chapter 1
Connect the tools in Integrations
Go to Integrations and connect the tools you want to use.
Start with your CRM and your marketing tool. Then add email, support, or anything else that holds account activity.
Salesforce has one extra step if you choose the security token option.

Start in Integrations and connect your CRM first.

After you click Connect Salesforce, choose how you want to authenticate. If you use Salesforce Security Token and Organization ID, go to Salesforce Settings, click Advanced User Details, then open Login History. Copy the part before .my.salesforce.com. For example, if you see orgfarm-c971aa2e4c-dev-ed.develop.my.salesforce.com, copy orgfarm-c971aa2e4c-dev-ed.develop.
Chapter 2
Add the account in Accounts
Go to Accounts. Under Your Owned Accounts, click Add to Profile on the account you want to track.
Then open that account. Under Connected Services, click Manage.
Use Auto-Match Across Integrations first. If needed, add the mapping by hand.

Screenshot: Review matches
Use the suggested match first. If it is not right, click Add Manual Mapping.

After the match is saved, use Manage to review mappings or Add to map another service.
Chapter 3
Ask Signal for expansion opportunities
What changed at Hume?
The main thing that stands out at Hume AI is a support ticket showing they've hit their user limit. That's exactly the kind of signal you'd want to act on - it maps directly to your configured high-value signals.
The sentiment on the ticket is neutral (no frustration, no escalation), which is a good sign - they're not angry, just at capacity.
Why it matters: A user limit hit is a clear path to a commercial conversation about expanding seats or moving to a broader plan.
What's missing before reaching out:
- - No contact data is mapped - we don't know if the ticket came from an admin, a team lead, or a general user. That matters a lot for how you approach it.
- - No corroborating signals from email, marketing, or Slack - those sources aren't connected or mapped for this account, so we only have the one ticket to go on.
- - Deal value in CRM is sitting at $0, which suggests this may not have been worked as a live opportunity yet.
Honestly it's worth a look, but you'd want to find out who the right person is before reaching out. Want me to try to find a contact at Hume - ideally an admin, ops lead, or team head?

Keep it simple. Connect the tools, map the account, and look at the few accounts that matter.
